I agree mate. We’d be short but we’d survive as long as it wouldn’t a long term thing.

I don’t think any of the staff would complain if we had a bit more cover in a few areas but sometimes it’s hard to get the right player in.

Our squad is still bigger and stronger than the vast majority in this league, so I’m sure we’d cope.

    Let’s be positive.

GG said a fair bit more than that, but nothing headline grabbing:

Continuous improvements to the ground that maybe the fans don't see, such as the new gym, a player's lounge, etc as well as painting the East Stand, the new Family Area in the East Stand Upper.

As always we've tried to work with the opposition on reciprocal ticketing prices but not everybody has wanted to link in with us.

Using the North Stand for home fans. We have some safety measures to carry out but we're hopeful of giving this a trial at some point this season, and need the support of the fans to make this work by wanting to move across. Still unsure what this will do to the atmosphere as we need to protect the Ponty End, but it will give us some insight in to whether this as a longer term option.

He's looking forward to meeting the Peterborough owner!

Talked about the transfer process (again zzzzzzzzz). The coaching team and GG identify what they need from a player in each position in terms of attributes. Then, for example, the data might provide 100 options. That data gets cuts to 50. Video scouting cuts it down to 10. Actual scouting might cut it down to 5. Who's available and what we can realistically afford provides three options. We then secure Stendel's preferred target. It was suggested the Head Coach gets involved at the video scouting stage.

Contact discussions are ongoing and have been for some weeks. There is a challenge that we don't know what division we'll be in next season and that makes discussions difficult, however the players are really enjoying their football right now as well as the new coaching team, and that's importing. For Mowatt, he's enjoying his football again after two years and that counts for a lot when discussing contracts. We also need to be conscious that is the aim of 'Championship' doesn't come off this season, then our spend on players wages in terms of financial fair play will be reduced versus our turnover as the percentage drops.

Asked about any intentions to link up with Nice. Said the ownership model is very different however we would look at synergies or opportunities where possible, but that's difficult right now as the gap is too big so maybe something to explore once we're more successful. Joked about French players not wanting to come to the third division in England (which is basically semi-pro in France), until they're told the crowds are 12,000 a week.

Curve ball - his favourite player of all time is Filippo Inzaghi

I am on while positive big spell coming up now where the league will start to take shape. I think if we can keep ourselves in touch with the top 2 and hopefully strengthen in Jan automatic is still a good possibility.
Hopefully Mowatt will sign a new deal before then too.

Bahre said something similar when he signed. The strength of the lower leagues in England really is something special. They can go on about Barcelona and Bayern Munich having B teams in their countries' lower divisions as much as they like, but the fourth, third and even second tiers in other league systems simply don't compare.

Using the west stand for away supporters isn't possible.

As mentioned using the north stand for a singing section if the fans wanted it but didnt want to ruin the atmosphere in the ponte by doing so.

He wants the public to stop watching training or he wants the public to watch training ?

No idea if he mentioned it in the meeting but GG says in the chronicle they spoke to Adam Hamill over the summer about re signing
but the deal wasn't right .
presumably money maybe also length of contract.

My understanding is that currently you can't watch training on Thursday and Friday. That was Stendel's decision because he didn't want the opposition seeing formations, set pieces, etc. He now doesn't think like that (because you can watch training from the 'Aqua Hill') so is hoping that will change.

So what change is our manager hoping for here, I wonder .... maybe introduce dummy set pieces to training, so any Burton 'birdwatchers' up there today will be fools on the hill :) Or maybe he's gonna build a wall like Donald :) This is worse than leaking transfer targets

I think its as simple as being overprotective and then realising you don't need to be. Nothing more than that
