That's the sad thing. The poor performances and the lack of motivation, inspiration or whatever you may wish to call it have shown that England do not care. If we manage to '"turn up" at the finals next year - hopefully not with the prima donna players , believing in their own hype! and their WAGS and Posh etc and the shopping etc I can't see us getting any further than we have really struggled to achieve in the past. McClaren is a poor England Manager, when you look at the likes of what is available Mourinho and then O'neil, Wenger (sigh, if only!). McClaren has had few tactics, cannot manage the primna donnas in his team, plays negative football and has turned a team of world class players into a pub team incapable of believing in themselves but who were willing to believe in all the hype as to how wonderful they are . I cannot respect this England Team at all. They are currently the 'luckiest team in the world' I wouldn't travel to Sheffield, Manchester or anywhere else to support them because the players don't care and my god, 4.000 fans in Austria They have my support bless 'em. I can show that support for Barnsley Fc but not for England.
Hi Tina I know what you mean, but don't you agree that England should be doing much better with the players that they have? You call them a team of "millionaire prima donnas" who don't care, but I'm not sure about that... When I read messages here and on other English messageboards or websites (I find it quite annoying when some England fans gloat about "1966" during every major tournament, and then believe that there's some kind of a international conspiracy against them when they get knocked out), I sometimes get the feeling that you expect too much from your team. But having said that, I haven't seen any England games since they played Finland a couple of years ago, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about... Anyway, of course your expectations should be higher than mine (Finland have never qualified for any tournament...), but the fact that England have qualified for every major tournament since USA '94 is already quite impressive in my opinion. Perhaps you're a step or two behind the best teams in the world (don't ask me what they are) at the moment, but there's still a lot of time to change things before Euro 2008 (well, if you get qualified), and I think England have been a bit unlucky as well... Maybe your manager wasn't the best choice either, but only time will tell. Oh well... Maybe it's the British media that we should blame - as long as England keep winning they'll only talk about "1966" or that 5-1 victory against Germany and expect the current team to perform like that all the time, and as soon as they lose a game, they declare the whole team as scapegoats or then they make up some stupid conspiracy theory, and the whole nation seems to believe it. Just one more game... You can do it. Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm tired. (chinny)
Here you go Some more recent about photos of our Kongo... the first one's from last summer I think, and the second one is a bit older.
You make perfoect sense Tomi Good to hear from you.
When will you be coming to the UK again?

No, The English team has little respect these days from the media.
There are people who follow them regardless but there is a lot of bitterness.
How we might still qualify is a mystery to me.
We don't deserve it if truth be told, but we have to pull out all the stops on Weds and we have most of our key players out
Owen will pull a hamstring boiling a egg, but he's out anyway and Terry and Ferdinand the sleeper is out.
We have to depend on Crouch to nod one in.
As for McClaren he s a total and utter joke

Tina, your comments tonight just emphasise the fact that women and football do not mix. Please stop it.
P.S. It's not the first time you've done it either!

RE: You make perfoect sense Tomi It's nice to hear from you too, I hope you've been well. I've been planning another trip to the UK but I really don't know when it's going to happen, as it's difficult to find enough time for it (the flights are so expensive that I want to stay for a bit longer than just a day or two)... I've only been to the UK once after the play-off final, but I'm determined to come back before the end of the current season. I'm sure I'll let you all know then... And you're probably right about the England team - like I said, I haven't seen any of their games for ages and I'm looking at it from a totally different perspective as well... I'd be happy to have any of those "overpaid prima donnas" (or however you called them) in the Finnish national team, as we're still relying on old veterans like Jari Litmanen who's currently without a club and hasn't played a competitive match for six months (!!) before today... he still assisted the winning goal today though. (clap)
RE: Tina, your comments tonight Hmm... I think she probably knows a lot more about football than you do.
I'm not sure why England "should be doing better", yes they should be qualifying for major tournaments but from there what is expected? Maybe getting to the quarter finals is success. Overall it would be a mid-table Premiership side if all those players were in the same team.
RE: Tina, your comments tonight How are Finland doing?
Even a woman knows more about football than a Finn! Stick to Ice Dancing, you know it make sense!

RE: Tina, your comments tonight Finland are doing quite well, thanks for asking. We "only" have to beat Portugal (away) in our last game to get qualified... I know we need to have some luck and play a great game, but hey, anything's possible... And yes, Tina probably knows more about football (especially English football) than I do, hahah.
I'm just so pleased These results will have right peeed off the scumbags in the press. By the way - which of the England team are the "prima donnas" that are talked about? I can only think of one and I think it's a disgrace that he is even anywhere near the team (Bentley). I suppose lots of folk will be wanting England to lose on Wednesday. That's a disgrace in my view.
RE: I'm just so pleased After what Gus said about England, I am pleased Russia came to grief in little old Israel. I have a great deal of sympathy for Steve Mac. and none for Tina's prima donnas. Pick an England side from the Coca Cola leagues and you'll get the passion back. How can you be motivated earning millions a year?
