Yesterdays encroachment seemed a little weird to me, the game was won & the third goal was the icing on the cake, I could have understood if it had been a winning goal but it wasn't, strange that.

    Totally agree.
No matter what age they are.
To me - it shows how much they love the club.
    And it’s great to see.
    No harm done.
And I think Barnsley fans are one of the best at invading the field.

    Bang right mate.

Just seen a bunch of kids trying to nick swimming goggles and shorts etc up at Metrodome. Only 14 ish.

But it’s ok. They’re only kids. FFS.

Discipline and respect starts when you’re a kid. Miss that, and it’s often too late.

I’m not saying the lads who went onto the pitch should have a lifetime ban - I agree that’s too harsh. But they should have been taken into security and had their details taken along with a warning about conduct.

Besides, if we had no pitch invasions, we would never have had the two lads who ran on and scored a "goal" against Man Utd in a league Cup match. Admit it, who didnt actually find that funny.

It might only have been one lad but to just casually laugh it off and say 'he was just enjoying himself' or 'it shows how much he loves the club' really is setting the wrong precedent. Where do we draw the line? If it is ok for just one lad to run on to the pitch is it then ok for everyone in the Ponty and the East Stand Lower to do the same just because we wanted to enjoy ourselves and show how much we love the club. The rules are there for a good reason and to be fair it is not a difficult rule to observe. If people can't enjoy a goal from the stands just as much as they do by running on the pitch then they have a problem.

    Agree.

It also backs up the reason why we can’t have a full capacity North Stand. If we can’t steward and marshall 3,500 home fans in the opposite stand, we’ve no chance with 6,500 away fans in the other stand. And that is one reason given by the Safety Officer why it has reduced capacity.

That says more about the ground security arrangements TBH. Three teenagers playing cat and mouse with the stewards is hardly a critical matter. on the other hand, I've just been reminded about that Man Utd league cup game. Didnt their fans terrorise the young girls doing the catering and loot the bar etc. FA did nothing, despite (I think) BFC officially complaining. None of thoise fans would have got tickets to a Mna Utd away game unless they were season ticket holders/Club members, so easy to track down. That's worth getting angry about. Not condoning it, just saying it was a storm in a teacup in the grand scheme of things

Pitch invading isn't a new thing look back on videos of the promotion season under Wilson west Brom away city away..... reds fans were on pitch all time after goals, just like away teams have done at oakwell over the years. I'm not sure why the lad invaded the pitch yesterday as the game was over already maybe he had a big lump on 3 nil I don't know. But calling for life time bans Jesus! Maybe a word with him take his name ect but life time ban, wow can't agree with that.

Happy for you. No laws saying you have to visit this vermin infested town either so I don’t know why you lower yourself to coming back here.
