Looking even more important after tonight's results.

Good result for Forest - hopefully they've guaranteed a play off spot by the time we play them; now come West Brom, we don't want Forest and Brentford to get ideas regarding automatic promotion. Oh, and while I'm on, a draw tomorrow between Hull and Middlesbrough.

Yep massive, massive game. Just hope same doesn’t happen as last time. They were on a poor run and looking doomed already, and then they played us

    Yep, it's huge.

Hoping we can summon the spirit of 20th April 1987 and Michael Clarke's (uncharacteristic) screamer and win 2-1 (plus go on to win a further three of our last four games as we did that season to go from the bottom 3 to finish 11th!)

Before Wigan’s news today I would agree about tomorrow, now a draw still not a bad result but if Boro beat Hull, it keeps them within a point.

He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy; shouldn't he be self isolating at his age?

A classic 6 pointer they must have been one of the favourites for promotion at the start of the season,

O'Neill apparently made six changes for the 3-0 reversal at Wigan and there's speculation in
the Stoke press he's still none too clear on his strongest line up and might ring more changes in
time for our visit on Saturday.

Apparently Butland had a " mare" so there's a distinct possibility that Davies could well be
given the nod in goal. Irrespective of who ends up playing for them, as others have rightly
said, given the recent results of the teams in the relegation zone all of whom are battling to
stay up, for us to improve our chances of survival, Saturday's game is one we must try to win
    at all costs.

Stoke City now in Championship 'survival fight', says boss Michael O'Neill

Before everyone adds three points to our tally factor in Stoke's squad. If they turn up and apply themselves they'll beat us. Home advantage and better players.

This is the way I see it too. We're going well but so are many of the teams around us and with 6 games to go we're running out of runway. It's time to focus our negative energy on a smaller set of clubs. A draw would be ok but I'd rather Hull's woes continue.

Discount home advantage cos it's no longer a thing and better players still need to play as a team which they are struggling to do at the moment. It's a good time for us to play them and given the Huddersfield result last night we need the win.

I don't think being at home behind locked doors is actually an advantage going by quite a few results.

I'd take a point. I'd take a point at Luton too. I think the games to win will be Wigan and Forest. Hopefully keeping the gap to Wigan less than 12 points and finishing above Hull and Luton.

Obvious the reasons behind both lindsay and davies moving to stoke weren't footballing ones.

Going back further I don't think Scowen's move to QPR or Watkins going on a free to Norwich City were either. In fact I have it on good authority that Watkins spat dummy out and asked for a transfer when he heard what Winnall and Hourihane were earning.

It seemed like that once winnall and conor went he put a transfer request in which was knocked back. Looked like he wanted more money when he saw what other players were earning after moving on. When end of season came we didnt see him for dust.
Some on here used to rave about lindsay how he was the better of our center halfs and he will go all the way then he took a move to stoke to tread water and sit on there bench.

Hecky mentioned it in his article after leaving us that once Hourihane and Winnall left it was hard to motivate the players he was left with.
