Looking on the EFL website ifollow state matches on Saturday's between 1445 hrs and 1715 hrs in the UK will not be streamed and will be blacked out. Anyone know if there will be opportunity to watch those games live on ifollow?
I'm sure the club has said they are waiting to hear from EFL regarding offering games to season ticket holders like they did after lockdown. If they do then I assume they will also be available for ifollow subscribers.
The precedent having already been set I would be surprised if they don’t stream the games until the total lockdown of grounds is eased
You're not suggesting that having bought a season ticket we would then be expected to pay for Ifollow to watch the games?
I think ifollow will try to cash in by putting the prices up. Not long before the Season starts and still no news from the EFL
yes. I can’t see the club funding your tv again. You might get a rebate on the season ticket but they were dirt cheap anyway.
We've all taken a leap of faith on the assumption that one way or another we'll get to see the matches we've paid for. If we can't get into Oakwell and the ST doesn't qualify for iFollow access, there will be a huge rush for refunds. And rightly so.
I could imagine home games only and having to pay for away ones. In all honesty it doesn't matter, it's so easy to watch any championship game you like.
I'd expect that. I wouldn't expect away matches to be included, but it was a nice gesture that they were last season.
Away matches being included was actually parts of the offer for reds reserved+ it was listed as one of the key reasons to pay the extra £50 (I think it was £50)
Oh right, I'd forgotten why I'd paid the extra ... other than the shirt which I've still got to pick up.
I think it's very reasonable to expect to get free ifollow for every home game we're unable to attend. either that or pro-rata refund...which people can then use to buy game passes.
The EFL have reached a ground-breaking deal with Sky Sports that will enable clubs in all three divisions to stream every match next season live on their websites. Season-ticket holders will get access to their side's home matches free of charge and more casual fans will be able to watch every game — including Saturday 3pm kick-offs for the first time — for a fee of around £10. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ream-match.html#click=https://t.co/KOmEu0MB6v
Hopefully like last season we get away games too as part of the deal. Makes up for so few being allowed to watch live even though it's safer to watch live games now than it was when we played Cardiff.
