Before the Moncur and Adeboyejo substitutions we were struggling (well as much as we’d struggled all day). But from 68 minutes onwards we were a joy to watch. Brilliant work from Moncur to get past his man down the by line and put it through the keeper’s legs for a tap in for Adeboyejo. Moncur seemed to have the ball stuck to his foot the remainder of th game, they just couldn’t get it off them. Adeboyejo gave us a threat in behind and created the space for Moncur and Mowatt to start pulling the strings again. He looks a little raw but there’s definitely potential there. Great that he’s got a couple of goals already. Top substitutions and brilliant that we have such a strong bench. I’d give Moncur, Adeboyejo, Izzy and McGeehan a start against Blackpool.
It's an important part of a managers job to know when to make substitutions and who to bring on and he nailed it today. Moncur was excellent and Adeboyejo looks a very good prospect that double substitution turned the game on its head and the 2nd goal Killed the game off.
