Sorry not soccer related. Have received an urgent email from talk talk saying they are altering all their email, browsers settings as a matter of urgently. Anyone received this please, how do I check its genuine please, and also how to report fraud emails. Thanks in advance. 87 year olds need all the help they can get!

    Its almost certainly a scam
First are you actually on talk talk for your email - if you arent its a scam
Key things to check are - is it Urgent - then thats a big red flag indicator
Does it say Dear Customer rather than Dear George - its a scam

If it asks you to click a link DO NOT click the link - if its real it will tell you to log into your account to update something

but I am 99% sure its a scam even without seeing the mail
but if you want to be 100% sure call Talk Talk tech support ( good luck with that mindyou)

To report it to talk talk forward it to phishing@talktalk.co.uk

There was a big data breach some years ago at TalkTalk and I still periodically get these sort of scams via phone from "TalkTalk" even though I switched to Sky years ago.

Usually if you type the wording in the email header followed by the word "scam" into Google, you'll see lots of other people already identifying it as a scam. Same thing with dodgy text messages.
