I thought Thomas and Chaplin played well yesterday.

I really do feel Chaplin will prove to be a quality signing for us. Very quick feet.

I hope he goes 442 with moore but i think he might go 4411 or 433 for the extra protection in midfield. Woodrow needs a partner tho to be at his most effective

I think that'd be the starting line up I'd go for, too.

I was trying to think of a tenacious, foot in, defensive midfielder 'cos I was a bit top heavy on attacking, creative, goal scoring mids, and Scowen was the name that came to mind

But I do understand the question marks

Daniel said Kieffer was a few weeks off proper fitness so would have thought he is unlikely to play. Bar that I would go with the original poster's line up. Fewest changes the better our chances.

Yeah thought someone posted he was out. I'd prob go with Chaplin if bahre's not fit. Just on the basis that Moore has hardly played pre season so prob not ready to start.

Not sure if it will work, but gives us a 5 man midfield and a defensive midfielder.
Maybe more to come in yet though.

Has Moore’s actual injury been disclosed yet? Related to his head injury or different?
