Let's stop with the chopping and changing and let's play our best XI and play to OUR strengths not the opposition !

    Davies

    Yiadom MacDonald Lindsay Fryers

    Williams

    Barnes Moncur McGeehan Hammill

    Bradshaw

Subs: Walton, McCarthy, Pearson, Gardner, Potts, Hedges, Thiam / Ugbo

As good as Barnes is, I really cant see him playing on both wings. Put Hammill in for one of them.

    I'd play Potts over McGeehan

That's a barnstorming team that is.

Hammill for Barnes and Potts for McGeehan for me.

I'd prefer Potts as well in midfield

Offers much more at the minute - lacks quality at times.

Does something that rest of mid rarely do. Wins headers. I'd even be tempted to try him up front with a striker if we played that way.

Yeah that is true - he also seems to get in some decent positions but his quality/composure was lacking

    Yiadom lindsay Mcdonald fryers
    Williams Gardner
    Barnes potts hammill
    Bradshaw.

Most experienced team we can put out which is needed in a big game like this.

You can push Gardner up a bit to make 4141 if that's any better.

That’s definitely an option on my opinion although if we’re going with Gardner and Williams in an arguably more defensive two then I’d go for Moncur as opppsed to Potts.

That being said, I’d look to go for Williams at the base of a midfield three with Potts and Moncur slightly ahead of him on Saturday.
