    Quick turnaround now.

    Would go with:

Walton (although he really needs to start dominating his 6 yard box)

    Sollbauer, Helik, Andersen

    Brittain, Mowatt, Palmer, Styles

    Adeboyejo, Woodrow, Morris

Morris and Palmer did enough coming on for me tonight. I quite like Chaplin but I think he needs a rest now.

I'd go with that team, too.

I'd sell Mowatt n' start Palmer, Styles n' Oduor until Kitching or Williams sisters are fit.

Agree with much of this, especially bringing in Palmer and Morris, but I'd also bring in Brad Collins and rest Jack Walton. who's looking a bit hesitant at times

Also rest Mads Anderson, and bring in Kitching

I'd got with that too. Significant increase in physicality with those changes, which I think would give us a better chance against Fat Word. I'm sure Big Val has a plan though.

    Agreed.

I also think Chaplin will get more goals/assists coming on for the last half an hour than he will as a starter.

Kitching is injured and we haven't a clue how he'll play so not a starter for me. I'd give Morris more game time and Palmer.

I'd see how Collins fares against Norwich before making any changes there as well.

I’d go with that team. If Williams was fit, I’d be bringing him into the left of the back three, with Helik or Andersen in the middle. They’ll probably both play but will be lucky to after tonight’s **** up

I’d agree with you about Collins coming in for Walton. A lot of the uncertainty at set pieces is down to Walton lacking presence in the 6 yard box. Would agree about Kitching too but he’s injured I believe.

I Would park the bus, do not all boo please, use our pressing energy to frustrate them, put Morris upfront by himself, we need a point 3 losses in a row and doubts start creeping in
so its 5 4 1 for me,Watford like stretching the game spraying balls out wide, 3 at back the in behind us, we got away with it at Oakwell, but plenty of their crosses were on a foot off causing us problems
this plan obviously goes out the window if Helik and Anderson start playing human pinball kicking ball into each other instead of clearing it , will also allow solbaur to go back into central defence

No agenda against Walton like some suggest but he needs to come out of the side.

Hesitant to come out and command his box, why do you think Roberts launched every throw at every possible opportunity?

We’re extremely suspect at set pieces. He didn’t think at times and comes rushing out for no reason whatsoever. Yes he makes a few a decent saves but his overall game isn’t where it needs to be at this level - young or not.

People forget we have the tallest defenders at the club that I can ever remember and they still don't win the ball from crosses or throws. The issue there is all on them

I don't think we need to panic do we? We got beaten at home by Bournemouth and Swansea - two sides aiming for automatic promotion. We lost away at Cardiff and Swansea. But we've beaten who we should be beating, and also turned over some very good sides at home. It was only a month ago that that extremely limited footballer who doesn't care smashed one in against Watford to give us 3 points against a side with a 30 man squad made of Prem players.

We're a decent top half/mid table side - the knee jerk on here when we lose is nuts.

I think Victor did well enough yesterday for another start, with Morris coming on 2nd half.

That front 3 would be my preference given our style of play. Woodrow isn’t a ‘knock it in my general direction’ type of player, so having 2 big lads to feed off might help him get a bit closer to the 6 yard box.

I really like Chaplin, I think he’s bright and is an all round good footballer, but this system needs physicality.

Only problem is we don’t have similar players coming off the bench if we need to make an impact.

Might seem like it, but let’s not forget we’re on a very tough run of fixtures and only a few weeks ago many accepted we would do well to get anything from Norwich, Swansea, Watford and Cardiff. There’s likely to be more trying hard but coming up short before we start picking up points again.

We’ve got 22 games to pick up what we need, so I think it’s a bit premature to be worrying just yet, just as it was for people to re-adjust their expectations from doing better than last season to getting into the playoffs.

Okay, I'll be honest. I thought we thoroughly deserved to beat Watford (despite their expensively built squad) at home, we've not been lucky to accumulate our points total so far and am quite confident we'll avoid relegation this season.
