Just wondering how they'll be travelling this very long distance, probably today. Fly to Exeter airport from Leeds/Bradford,or go by train, or a 6-7 hour coach ride.
Either way I hope they dont sit on a coach for hours tomorrow morning. Hopefully they go today, have a good kip and fresh for tomorrow
They will be down today. Anywhere further than 3 hours coach ride they will go day before. Saw them setting off on Friday lunch time when we played Wimbledon away.
Travelling is a sore point for me at moment after Thursday. Stayed at my mates for a few days last week at West Molesey. We had tickets to watch Castleford and Wakey Thursday night. Thought we'd given ourselves enough time to go to ours for a few hours, drop our stuff off and head over to the rugby, but traffic was a mare. Heaving through Walton on Thames, stop start on M25, M1, M18 and A1 and eventually took us 6 hrs, so we ended up going straight to the rugby and only just made kick off. We were going to watch Accrington v Luton yesterday, but I couldn't face more travelling given were up at crack of dawn tomorrow.
Think they've sailed - although Daniel was a bit behind the team on the boat, he was just walking on the water.
3 hrs? We were in a hotel on the outskirts of Leeds the other week and the Blunts were staying there. The hotels about half an hour from Elland Road - it’s not much further from bramall lane.
It’s obviously up to the management team and players when they go but I know that places within an hour or 2 they have gone on the day. But further than that go day before.
My old boss who's on the security team at Spurs that even before a home game they stay in a hotel the previous night, either madness or more money than sense
They've all been nestled in McGeehans bouffant since Friday night, he's canoeing down the east coast. Just stopped off at Clacton on Sea for a piss. It's all over his Instagram.
We were in Liverpool a couple of years ago and Man.Utd were playing Everton at Goodison. We watched the Man.Utd team catching the bus coming out of the Liverpool Hilton. They had stayed over night instead of what was a 40 minute journey.Pampered or what.
Cracking game though Fitzy. Just managed to hold on. Unless yr a Trinity man of course? In which case you really did have a poor day.
