Well done Zeki. Personally I'd have made Hecky the manager.

Am I just cynical to wonder why the players and manager came from 12 different teams.

Lovely performance from Fryers on Saturday. He seems to be growing in comfidence, settling in nicely and going a long way to banishing the ghosts accrued during his horrible spells and Rotherham and Ipswich on loan, presumably in no small part due to PH's influence and the fact that this is now his club, not just a short term loan/stop gap. Really looking forward to seeing how he develops as he has all the attributes required to be a fantastic asset to the club and a great full back at this level.

Just wish we could enjoy Fryers and Yiadom all season. Both would (hopefully) improve with fitness and games. Can't believe ZF has only played 40 professional games.

Jason McCarthy started brilliantly given the step up a league, but will learn a lot watching those two. Likewise Pearson was thrown in deep end stepping up 2 leagues. I reckon that experience, then a bit of time working in training with Hecky and Clapham will be great for him.

Hopefully Cavare can get fit if we lose Yiadom. So we have cover left and right. Young Williams looked decent in the U23 match I saw him in. Better going forward.

Full back is certainly an area we're blessed in.

Well done to the lad, he had a great game on Saturday. Overshot the mark by a mile or two with some set pieces, but otherwise solid. Not much up against him though, he had a much harder time at Burton.

Personally I would play Jason McCarthy at centre back..

    Yiadom - McCarthy - Lindsay - Fryers.

Even with 3 at the back.

    McCarthy - Lindsay - Jackson

    Yiadom& Fryers as wing backs?
