14th on merit after 13 games. I think we’d all have taken that pre-season.

Credit to everyone at BFC for getting us there.

If we can maintain this form all season then it'll make a nice change from looming over our shoulders at the relegation places all season like last year..

Indeed. The only thing over our shoulders for most of the season was the void, with Rotherham and Coventry just visible as they prepared to leave it!

It was like the no mans land between Moorthorpe and Thurnscoe.

I thought we were in a false position. A few tweaks was all it needed. Once the liabilities were removed (Mcgeehan, Sibbick, Cavare, Diaby, Wilks, Thiam) we picked up points.

Sollbauer was the single most important bit of business we did last season. Along with giving starts to Styles and Oduor.

Agree to an extent. We needed someone to instil a bit of belief and a non losing mentality. The personnel were secondary. We needed to shore up defensively as a team. Struber did that last season, but then lost the plot

I can't understand how he lost the plot because last season we had a happy medium between attack and defence.

Me neither, but he did. Big time. We can all see it now. Same players, different coach = different team.

He was ruining Woodrow playing him at the tip of the diamond. I actually thought his diamond worked and still do lol :D

If you play Woodrow down the middle and keep it on the deck not bypassing midfield you don't need a target man.

Just as long as he learns from the Brentford game and we send the wingbacks forwards when we have the ball - we wont create much if they are really part of a 5 man defence - 5-2 3 doesnt work with the lack of pace we have up front
