Looked hopeless, if we sign him we really are scraping the barrel.

    Surely not.

How did the German striker play?

If it was indeed a German striker.

    Two things were for certain

    1) He wasn't English
    2) He wasn't called John Smith.

He looked tidy early on but seemed shot shy which is just what we need, kept passing when in the area about 12 yards out.

Second half he was stuck on the left wing to accomodate Odejayi which was a baffling decision.

I don't think he's a world beater, but he looked ok to me. Gave our defence a few things to think about (didn't take much like!), beat moore to a couple of headers and general looked lively getting stuck in and chasing things down. He's only young and at least looked like he can kick a ball, unlike some of our strikers.
