People keep saying we should have sorted deals out last season and we wouldn't be in the position we are now.... Surely under the financial restrictions of league 1 we had our hands tied over contracts and what we could offer? That said we should have tied them up at the beginning of this season when we got stones and Mawson money. I'm not sure if we did start any negotiations or not but surely with what we've had in transfers this season we could push the boat out and get players signed up.....
