Macdonald's fault for the second I believe, Kent didn't help Elder at all for the first and the third goal I wasn't sure about.
No great surprise. Elder isn't good enough at present and very inexperienced. Jackson has barely played this year and is yet to establish himself at this level. Janko looks to be a pretty decent winger but a little suspect as a full back whilst MacDonald is a rapidly improving competent centre half, but for me one that needs a competent partner to help him out at times. We're down to the bare bones defensively and up at St James' Park I honestly expected 4 or 5 against us!

Elder is really quite shocking and from what I've seen of jones he isn't much better. Can remember when we signed jones on loan we were linked with a permenent move at 1st and many on here were frustrated we brought in another loan. Thank God we loaned em both and didn't sign them on contracts. Jackson has been abit of a scape goat but he has hardly played all season and only just come back from injury so it's a little unfair to criticise so much. He looked fine v burton to me. Abit of a change to the back four of yiadom,Mawson, robo and bree that started the season.
