Thanks to the club with a nod to whitey and the comms team for a great pre match event yesterday. It really brought home what we're about as a club. That sense of oneness and the sense of community I only feel these days when I'm at Oakwell. There's nowhere else in my hometown where 11000 people get together every other week all wanting the same thing.
So thanks again - seeing the proper oldsters brought a few tears to my eyes thinking of my old man (Roy rip) and my grandad who took me down from being knee high to a grasshopper ....aged 5 and being lifted over the turnstile and standing on a beer crate to see over the wall to watch the match in the old spion kop
George Kerr, George Hamstead, Alan Hill and Spud in particular took me back to those days.
    Nowt like it.

A great winger. Played like the ball was tied to his bootlaces.
