    Brilliant news that this is, I’m not not sure that it is going to be the game changer for the world that was initially thought. The logistics of storage and distribution at -78°C is already causing plenty of head scratching in the US. Okay if nothing else comparable comes along soon it may be the answer for the Western world but I just don’t see them overcoming these problems in the third world. Getting this vaccine to all the millions in India, across Africa, the middle and Far East? I’ll believe it when I see it.

    Do we know if all the other vaccines will require the same storage conditions? There could soon be quite a few different types available.
    Fingers are firmly crossed we can get back to normal next year.

    As far as I know the Oxford vaccine can be stored at around +7°C. Of course it may turn out to be a dud. Fingers crossed it can get somewhere near to the Phizer one when it is unblinded
