    Bolton, Burton, Birmingham and Sunderland.

For me that's the bottom 4 at the end of the season and it all comes down to who's the least worst out of a very bad bunch.

Bolton were never going to compete with that squad

Burton's home form & defence are far off what they need to survive

Birmingham have had this coming for a long time with only miracle working Rowett able to stop the rot.

Sunderland are one of the most toxic clubs in the world right now, money problems and hugely inflated expectations is never a good mix. Don't have the funds to improve drastically.

It seems to me that all you've done is look at the table and pick out the bottom 4 teams.

For example, Preston's last 6 game results are far worse than Bolton's.

    Millwall are sinking quick too.

Wanna bet that 3 of your 4 fill the relegation spots? I'll bet you that at least one team other than 3 of your your 4 goes down.

In defence of Preston though, they are without 6 defenders. Although I believe one returned tonight.

I would have said Burton and Bolton at the start but other 2 have surprised me. Would have expected Millwall to be down there with them

I had Sheff Utd to be relegated, shows what I know. They're having a stellar season and deserved based on what I've seen of them. Sadly.

Got to agree. Also think Hull will be dragged into that end of season battle.

Fair play to them - they hit the ground running.

not at all, these teams aren't just struggling they look really worse than any other above them and I just can't see any of them climbing up.

Although I agree with Twillo that Hull could be candidates as they look a very poor side.

Bolton after a truly shocking start seem to be slowly pulling it round. A quick look at the table and I noticed Birmingham have only managed 8 goals which for my money makes them favourites to go down at this point.

I believe last season the bottom 3 at this stage went down and the top 3 went up.

Never write off a team .
People did with Bolton and now .....
I know that all of the bottom five will not survive but history tells us that a mid table side at this stage can go down .
We cannot rest on our laurels which of course Hecky won't but fate can tweak a nose at any time .

And also a side in the bottom 3 can still go up - though I must admit I cant see it with any of those 3 this season.
Its possible Coleman can turn Sunderland round and at least get them safe though I'd prefer Burton to escape again if I had a choice
