RE: The Glorious British Empire So lets follow this logic through. If it's "necessary" for our government to "protect our way of life", how many of those people would it be "necessary" to kill in order to maintain it? Would 100,000 dead be an acceptable number? 500,000? 1,000,000?
Hydrogen is not an alternative form of energy It is a great way to store energy and when you release its energy it is very clean as the only by-product is water. However, we need energy to produce hydrogen in the first place.
RE: Hydrogen is not an alternative form of energy There's loads of it in the oceans, we just need a way to mine it.
RE: Awesome Thank you, I was looking for a good document to vindicate my statement and you found it, cheers.
Eh? Did you post that in the right place?
I pointed out that your belief that you need to educate ushighlights your own ignorance. Why are you gibbering on about fear?

RE: We'll tek owt fo nowt. I thank you. Can't beat a few labels thrown randomly at you to define your personality. I take no offence and hope you can calm down enough to be at peace with yourself.
You said "alternatives to OIL." Hydrogen cellsARE an alternative way to power vehicles. It's true that we consume energy in preparation but there alternative ways of producing that other than the burning of fossil fuels. We could use nuclear power and pay the middle east to store the waste in the desert. Sorted.
RE: freedom isn't free. nt It'san unfortunate truththat, until such times that the bad guys actually do stop being naughty if you ask them nicely, both freedom and peace need to be won and maintained by force.
RE: freedom isn't free. nt Freedom isn't free It costs folks like you and me And if we don't all chip in We'll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free Now there's a hefty in' fee And if you don't throw in your buck 'o five Who will?

RE: I don't suppose it would. Oh, well maybe you mean Lebanon during the recent conflict? Probably not a good idea to drop them there either since it borders Israel. Anywhere else?
Why don't you do a bit of research?......
....and try to minimise your embarrassment.
God knows why you keep doing this.

RE: China just wait and see... soon mugabe is a big threat too people are easy to manipulate and stupid enough to be manipulated.
RE: Why don't you do a bit of research?...... The wars/shelling Israel has been involved in since it is said they had developed nuclear missiles, have been, with one exception, with very close neighbours. So close that dropping a nuke on them would be entirely pointless due to the nuclear fallout that would rain down on Israeli citizens. The only other occasion was Iraq's rather useless Scud missile attacks back in the first gulf war. Any use of nuclear weapons back then would have involved taking out large numbers of UK and US soldiers and so was an entire non-starter.
