I know. Unlike me isn't it...

But yeah I keep seeing ads for a TV show called 'the dressing room' which is about what goes on inside the room where footballers get ready for games. Now I've nothing against the programme it's just the name dressing room sounds so wrong to me

So the question is is it and reading room or a changing room?

I never called it dressing room, always changing room. Dressing room sounds odd to me, never really heard anyone call it that.

Thank god for that. I thought I was going crazy.

I've heard it used as in 'hes lost the dressing room's but in general use I've only ever heard anyone say changing room for sport with dressing room being more used in theatre and things like that.
Swimming baths have changing rooms, school sports halls have changing rooms etc.
