I know it’s ‘an opinion’ but it’s fundamentally wrong.

it doesn’t matter whether you believe you’re voting for a party or a leader; you’re not voting for either!

you’re voting to elect an MP, that MP can change party the next day; just for the sake of silliness, this is how it works. We could all vote to elect a ‘green Party MP’, all of those could all then join the Tories, who could then decide to elect Nicola sturgeon as their leader.

anyone voting for their local Brexit party gobsh1te needs to be aware that they’re potentially electing someone who hasn’t the faintest idea what their job as an MP would be, in the same way as their MEP’s didn’t. It’s a protest vote that won’t improve anything it just means everything slows down because it’s dealing with an extra layer of manure.

Are you Israeli ?....are you Jewish ?

There seems to be a lot of fake outrage around all of this.

By the way....how are your EDL mates ?

People who are voting for the Brexit party especially across alot of the North probably know they wont get in, but are using the vote to keep Corbyn out, that's just my take on it, I may be wrong, btw I consider both the party/ leader when I put my X on the ballot paper.

They are well thank you for asking.

Now when I said I had friends who had been part of the EDL, if i recall correctly a number of posters on this forum had a head wobble.

Why isnt there the same outrage towards a (former) MP who has spent large parts of his political career standing on stage, associating with and claiming to be friends with members of terrorist organisations, whos sole remit is the destruction of Israel and/or the Jews depending which part of their charters you read.

People who's viewpoints and opinions make Tommy Robinson look like a church vicar.

I had a canvasser knock on my door on Sunday. He said he was canvassing on behalf of the Tory candidate - before he could finish his sentence I suggested to him that he leave (yes those were the words I used and I yes I was very polite ) I think his departure was hastened by the steam coming out of my ears  - the poor sod spoke with an unfamiliar accent, and, by his youthful look, he didn't know the history of our village. (I currently reside in Brampton Bierlow)

Only this morning I said to the current Mrs leebrilleaux 'I wonder if the canvasser got out of the village in one piece and what his thoughts of their (Tories) chances of winning the Wentworth & Dearne seat later this month' Her reply was along the lines of ' His death hasn't been reported yet and (hopefully) he's been made aware of the hatred for their policies that they espouse so much so that he perhaps should be reviewing his (political) allegiance.

Because one person is trying to get opposites to get together and talk, hence get peace and harmony while the person you mentioned last is exactly the opposite.

Have you got transcripts of the speeches HE made on these stages and point out the racist, violence supporting parts ? Or will they be predominantly championing peaceful solutions.

Don't know if you've seen the candidate list, but the Brexit Party candidate for Wentworth currently resides in Kensington & Chelsea.... Obviously he is in touch with local concerns.

We haven't had any communications in any form from any party - except for two from Labour including one personally addressed to me (possibly because I registered for a postal vote).

Who says I vote Conservative. I haven't nor has my wife. Certainly would not vote for ANY of the main parties which, in my honest opinion, are all as bad as each other. If you saw my post the other day I said who we voted for. My post was not actually deriding Barnsley for voting Labour. I merely said it was understandabòle given the what has happened to the town in recent times. I was NOT being judgemental.

Lending my vote to Boris this time.
This guy has all the hallmarks of a fantastic PM.
He is also the most liberal Conservative PM in my lifetime.

It would be nice if we lived in a country where everyone's voice was heard without fear of castigation or Ill will. Thankfully we live in a democracy, that includes freedom of speech for all, no matter if we agree or not . The country is made up of many different political ideologies and preferences, it doesn't make them right or wrong, it's just their opinion on what they personally believe. The bloke who knocked on your door deserved to be heard.
