Customers who have bought anything from them between February and June (many of us, in other words) keep an eye on your bank accounts: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2...rning-after-major-data-breach-at-ticketmaster
It applies to any purchases right up to last week but apparently if you're affected they will have contacted you.
And I thought it was impossible to hate them anymore than I already did? I hope they can slapped with a massive fine (plus £5 admin, plus £5 postage)
under new gdpr laws any company found to have been negligent in their controls is liable to a max fine of 4% of global turnover. In Ticketmasters case that could be a fine to the tune of around $500m. Be a shame.
Them ******** sold/gave away/compromised my email address a few years ago. Shortly after buying a couple of Barcelona tickets from their Spanish site, I started getting spam in Spannish. And the're just a legal form of ticket touting. Hope they go bust.
