Saw him at Wembley against Spurs and thought he could be one who could do a job for us with a bit of investment. Not in a position to know recent form. We need to change something in that midfield because Moncur and McGeehan looked short of adventure and ideas at Wycombe.
We need to stop playing bahre and moncur on wing for a start. Mcgeehan isn't a defensive midfielder but he has had some decent games there and some poor ones stendel can't think bird is upto it yet or he would of surely played him. We haven't got enough depth in the squad and we haven't all season for me.
Do we need more from mowett??? Played just about every game and not scored many. Not had that many assists either to say hes played every match. Goals from attacking mid is vital a la redders howard and hourihane...
I was impressed with him against Spurs last season, when he looked promising, and saw him in the home games in the Checkatrade this season when he didn't look ready to step up.
Need more from all our mids but Mowatt and Kenny have been the most consistent. I think there's goals in Moncur but would require change in formation and someone to do his work. Or an epiphany from Moncs.
That comes from stagnating in the under 23s. The abandonment of a proper reserves league is harming so many players careers
Mcgeehan isnt a defensive midfielder and he also isnt an attacking midfielder! Im unsure as to what his strengths are to be honest. Seems to be another one of those players that doesnt really do anything.
