a short while ago a couple of very good friends of mine suffered the heartbreak of a miscarriage . 6 of us have decided to do the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for the incredible help Matt and Tina received Below is a link to their story and what the charity we are raising money for is all about also you can donate from the same page, I'm asking you to take the time to have a read it and donate if possible. I appreciate most folk on here have recently donated to the incredible work WSB does but it would be much appreciated if you could spare a few more pound. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/Tarntrekkers
I just can't even start to imagine mate. Hats off to ya pal. Tipped in.. Edit. Well, I tried. Mobile site is dog$hit. I'll do it later buddy
I've been thinking of doing something myself, (probably cycling though) for cancer research, my youngest lad (he's 23 today) had an operation 3 weeks ago for testicular cancer. He's currently waiting for the results of a full-body CT scan. It's been a troubling time. I've done a few rides before for the Anthony Nolan Trust, I might see if they're doing anything this year.
It's a brilliant cause we're walking for mate. The help they give family's after either a miscarriage or stillbirth is amazing. They are there every step of the way. My mate Matt just wanted to give something back. So we decided to do this 3 peak challenge, we're hoping to raise a £1000. Not a massive amount but I'll mean a lot to the said charity.
