    I wasn't taking issue with anyone's right to ask the question.
    The original assertion was that difficult questions wouldn't be encouraged at the meeting.
    My debate was with redstar about why I, personally, don't understand the reasoning for criticism of the owner.

    I think people will find tonight very bland and boring. I don't believe anything new will be revealed,as regards the coach,it will be PR and that there has been no approach and they wouldn't welcome one. Enjoy each other's company though.

    On a slightly different tack, a while ago I realised I couldn’t get to the meeting so I wrote personally to Mr. Cryne c/o the Club. I thanked him for all he has done to save us, pointing out what a big part in the lives of five generations of my family the Club has been, and how much I appreciated his work. I posted it and then forgot about it. A couple of days ago I got a personal reply from him, thanking me and saying how much it meant to him to think he had done some good. This is a measure of the man; he’s got enough on his plate right now, but he took the trouble to get back to me. That letter goes into my prized possessions. I hope he gets the ovation he deserves tonight.

    I'm sure you can remember the hostility shown to homosexuals in the 1950s. Don't you think it's a positive that we've progressed as a society?

    I was going to ask for your thoughts on the takeover as I don't think you've posted about it once. I suppose it shows how little interest you have in BFC.

    You jump to his defence on most threads lately I've noticed and hemsworth tyke is more constructive than conan to this forum. The reeve got banned for posting one dimensional tripe but at least he was funny with it.
