which is difficult at the minute, for one thing we don’t know if he was pushed or walked ( still an if until official)
But primarily because I really like the bloke who embraced the club , the fans and the community and understood it.
Last season obviously A1, one of the most enjoyable ever, he was loved by fans and players alike.
This season splits have appeared in the fans ( maybe some players ?) as results and performances have plummeted and it’s fair to say it speaks volumes of the popularity of the man that given what’s happened the majority of fans still back him.
This season he’s mentioned lack of experience a few times and could be seen to have had a pop At the powers that be.
The rest really is supposition, has somebody decided that his tactics are lacking given the squad we have? There have certainly been enough comments on here regarding repeating the same mistakes match after match. Given that the players in hand have struggled with the press there doesn’t seem to have been much diversion from plan A like trying maybe more conventional tactics to try to stabilise things until he could add players he thought he needed.
Anyway suppose time will tell :(:(

We needed something to change, and the only realistic thing was the Coach, There were plenty already saying they’d had enough and we’re going to stay away, so under those circumstances.....was he pushed or did he walk? That is the question.

It always hurts when you see a really nice guy get treat the way he did. He hasn't and doesn't deserve any of this, and it's such a shame that it's ended this way.

I love the man, I genuinely mean that. I always felt like he loved us? Dunno if that's a strange thing to say but that's the impression I got. He had time for the fans, he embraced the town etc.

So sad to see him go, but as Marlon said, a new guy comes in and gets a few points on the board then things are quickly forgotten.
