I've ordered something online from a reputable and well known business(two seperate companies), only to receive an email hours later telling me they were out of stock, didn't expect to get any in within the near future and refunded my money. Why advertise it if you don't have it in stock and aren't expecting any in? I'm baffled.
It's possible that someone else bought one between the listing showing and you clicking "checkout" quite common occurrence actually. Annoying I know, but unavoidable.
I'd agree with that for one of them, as it was a popular item. The other one wasn't, and they'd sold out months ago but not bothered to update their website because in their words, "We have so much stock it's difficult to keep track of what's not available."
Tracked down? I doubt they trawl football forums looking for people who have had a negative experience of their business.
With one of them I can put it down to bad luck, so I'm happy not to name them. The other one was a football shop who don't keep check of their stock because they have "so much"
Either name the businesses or delete the thread because its pointless. We have a right to know because were all nosey!!
Dear Lord, what's with all the stick he's getting? It's not like this is the first non-football post ever and it's up to him if he wants to name them or not.
The BBS has never been all about football, just read the first page. Badger culls iPhone apps Internet providers English teachers Your own thread on a TV programme The list goes on....
I agree and wide variety of subjects covered on this forum is what attracted me to it. Your the one who called it a football forum not myself. So name the companies please...
Because you may see summat else on their site that teks yer fancy that they have in stock whilst searching for what you originally wanted.
I don't think we're in the position to slag anybody elses clubshop off, are we? One of them was Waterstones, but they were the better of 2 evils.
Why name just one? We demand to know the other?? Also what were you after buying from Waterstones - we demand the answers!
Surprised at Waterstones, was that the popular item? as that might explain it, but would have thought their stock control systems would automatically update. The others probably just ***** and need someone to key it in after they've been to look! It wasn't BFC was it?
