    Really decent strike force that.

Payne has the combination that terrifies defenders; Blistering pace & great strength. Has his haters that's for sure but give him a run of games with good service and he could be very decent indeed.

Browny is excellent every time I see him. Same qualities as Stefan but so agile and has top game intelligence.

At the very least these two could be a real menace off the bench against tiring defenders!

Would still add 1 more (Our Ashley) but we're not as far off in this department as people think.

It's not. We need two more.

So we've got two first team strikers?

Predictions in football are tricky I couldn't see anything other than relegation if we go with those 4. Two more needed. A loan out for Brown. An evaluation of Payne.

That's how I see it. We need two strikers that are ready to make an impact.

Despite having the physical attributes, Payne still looks very raw, and he's injured fairly often.

We know nothing about the new guy, and the jury is still out on Payne and Brown. Bradshaw we know is struggling because he hasn't got a strike partner up top. We need at least 2 more in, preferably one of those has some sort of experience playing in the championship or league 1.

I get the feeling I'm in the minority on this one, but from the limited bits I've seen I don't think Payne is anywhere near being good enough at the moment for The Championship. I'd absolutely love to be proved wrong but at the moment the jury is well and truly out.

Well I agree with you. So that probably does put you in the minority.

I think we still need 2 in

The first a proper target man who is solid in the air and can properly hold the ball up, McBurnie or someone else similar.

The second would of course be Ashley Fletcher ideally but if not him some one with lots of pace that can run at defenders and cause problems.

I feel adding 2 like what I mentioned would mean we have real options going forward that could all add something unique to our attack

Yeah ..for L1 maybe, Bradshaw must improve, Rembert how many goals Payne got in last seasons friendlies ? and then nothing. And the other 2 completely brand new...

I fail to share your optimism in or Championship strike force..

If we got Fletcher on loan I'd be reasonably happy with what we've got up front. Would assume Ugbo & Fletcher would be starters,
Payne & Bradshaw on bench. Brown maybe to cover injuries. We may end up playing 1 up in away games, so would be a fair bit of competition.
I'm assuming Yiadom will go, so we do need holding midfielder & full back as well. Anything else would be a bonus.

For me jury is still out on payne will be used as a back up I'd of thought. Brown is a young prospect and a loan out would do him good. We know nothing about the young kid from Chelsea hopefully he is last seasons tammy Abraham. At least one more striker needed a tough tackling midfielder should be priority.
I maybee in the minority but I have a feeling based on last season scince January and the amount of midfielders we have signed hecky plans on playing a midfield 5 and 1 up top.

With the current 4 we'd struggle. Add Fletcher and we'll be looking way better.

Everyone's assuming Payne is going to be part of the equation this season. I think he'll go out on loan again if we get the bodies in that we want.

With 4-2-3-1 being the popular formation at the moment, and the amount of midfielders we have signed i can see us playing with one up front.

If that is the case then we desperately need a big powerful forward in that can hold the ball up and bring the midfielders into play which we do not have at the moment.

Some say that is what Payne is but he for me is not good enough to be our number 1 striker going into the season
