http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39643202 how the **** has this talentless tw@t got that when this guy gets **** all http://www.noelfitzpatrick.vet/
You do know she does way more than just be 'Posh Spice', right? You're about 20 years behind. No way is she a talentless tw@t and if you actually knew anything about her then you'd know that already. She's didn't get an OBE based on 'Wannabe' she got one for her services to fashion and her charity work. Areas where she is extremely hard working and talented. Perhaps the guy you mentioned hasn't got one because no-one has put forward for him to have one, or maybe he's just not interested, or maybe Victoria Beckham got one for the things she does, rather than comparing her to someone else? If you think he should have one, fair enough but to say someone else who you know nothing about doesn't deserve one in a completely unrelated field is just bizarre. They weren't up against one another.
If there's going to be an OBE given out for fashion - which there is, I didn't invent that category - then I don't see why she shouldn't get it. There's lots of OBEs given out to people who make outstanding contributions to their particular field of work. My problem with the opening post is that Dragon presumably has no idea whatsoever about either her fashion or her charity work but sees fit to call her a talentless tw@t. I don't dispute whether the guy he mentioned should get an OBE or not but belittling her achievements to try and raise up his makes no sense, they don't even work in the same areas. The judges didn't say, who deserves it more, Victoria or the guy Dragon mentioned and then decided to give it to her.
The word T**t for me is the issue because she's probably a nice lass, but, she is talentless, in truth she's high profile simply because she married Beckham
Is that true though? That's saying that anything she ever does can be discounted because she will have always married him. How do you know she didn't marry him and is also talented in her own right? She was famous before she met him and in an interview he gave he said that he was unknown when he first met her but he knew he wanted to marry her. She was by far the most successful of the couple at first and arguably he perhaps only dated her because she was famous. Lots of famous people are married but it doesn't automatically follow that their partners get OBEs. In fact, that rarely does happen which suggests she must have something more than just being a footballer's wife.
talented? really? really, really, really, really? Kenny Brown had more talent in his little toe then she will ever have... talented, pmsl...
I didn't know you were big in the fashion industry? Also, are you aware of her charity work? Btw. No, I don't care one bit about fashion but people who do respect her a lot and say she has made massive contributions. If people who know lots about the industry she works in say she has then who am I to say otherwise?
Last comment in here. So far we've had someone commenting on her sex life, someone commenting on her looks, someone saying she is high profile because of her marriage despite her being famous first, someone telling me 'get pots done' but not one person who actually knows the first thing about her work, yet feel happy pass judgement on it whilst calling her a tw@t despite all she has done for charity. Well done fellas.
There are thousands of people who do charity work and never receive recognition through the honours system so what sets her aside other than who she is? I really believe that a selfless dedication to charity is worthy of recognition but the current system is so corrupt it reduces the significance of what should a highly respected award to something of ridicule and contempt amongst a lot of people. Too many undeserving people have been given awards for no other reason than doing a very well paid job, cronyism and bank rolling their political masters for honours to be given the respect and esteem they should be associated with. It's a crying shame because there are still a lot of ordinary folk who get honours for the right reasons but they are devalued by the undeserving - like Victoria Beckham for example. And as for talent, I'm afraid I share the opinion of other posters and think she's a talentless bint.
"Bint" was unnecessary. Or do we always require a final insult? I have no idea as to her fashion acumen - it did come late when other aspects of her "brand" seemed to flounder. So well done to her for finding a way out of a career dead end. Not sure that deserves a gong though. Perhaps her reward was for charity work. Apparently she's raised millions at many an event - by promising not to turn up and sing.
Can't believe some of the abuse towards her in this thread. She's been hugely successful in three different fields of music, fashion and the millions she's raised for charity. She's been married a huge length of time by celebrity standards and would be rich and successful even without her husband. She will have paid a ridiculous amount of tax (as rich should granted) and has what appear to be 4 decent kids who aren't dickish. She's a worldwide star like it or not. But in this country will do tend to love to put down our success stories.
I only meant it as a slang term for a woman but you're right it was unnecessary. Amen to that. I'd definitely sponsor her to not sing.
