http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...ports-midfielder-conor-hourihane-set-12480221 The story is here, but it looks dubious - the fee, the Daily Mail source, and what Hecky said about no new bids having been made. I'm skeptical.
That would be stupid surely if Villa are as desperate as they are supposed to be tell em to fk off and come back with a proper offer or tell them he's under contract and they can take their chances with other suitors at the end of the season because he's worth more than that to us this season in loss of face with fans and progress this season
Re: That would be stupid surely Various reports reckoned that Roberts to Burnley was a done deal, but we've heard nothing to suggest that it really is. What other reports have you seen on the Hourihane deal? They may well all just be rehashing the same (dubious) source.
Another 'source' on twitter says both bree and Connor to them has fell through and NOT happening. Silly season continues
Re: That would be stupid surely Just can't believe this is true. Who at the club would accept this given the de-stabilising effect this would have. Hecky would surely say no. Maurice and / or Patrick - really can't see that. And for a fee of £1m - no chance.
I don't usually wish my life away but for the love of all that is holy I wish it was February 1st. I don't know how many more of these transfer rumours I can take.
Think I know who you mean. Villa transfers? This is a villa source. I spoke to a villa fan about it. The club release info without releasing if officially, which is why this "bloke" is always on the money. Edit: which is why they say things like "other club causing problem" etc. Not sure what to believe. Perhaps that we are getting lots of bids in, perhaps CH isn't sure about villa. Who knows. Silly bloody season as some say. Bring on Feb )
Doubt we would pal. This bloke works in their medical department and confirms when medical dare booked in. Club seemingly complicit. We won't accept peanuts for CH. reckon he'll stay to season end. Hope so

Alan Biggs reckons Hourihane to Villa is on and is sourcing a well-connected club scout.

Conor Hourihane destined for Aston Villa in the view of a well-connected club scout who was on my show tonight.
