After a first half where we dominated and had the majority of the play. Then a huge fk up by our keeper and a unfortunate penalty nailed our coffin. Bad day at the office.
Sadly just one of those days. Not sure it was just the mistakes mind. Villa looked comfortable and doubt we'd have scored in 4 hours. But they are a good experienced side, who like us will get better as they play together. We needed to be at top of our game and we were a few gears off. Probably a few nerves, tired legs from Tuesday, and then Davies clanger knocked the stuffing out of them. We will learn from days like today. And improve as season goes. Villa will be up near the top end of the season. Such a shame on today of all days. But let's not lose sight of the fact we lost a football match. To a bloody good bunch of players.
Poor display but some positives to take I guess, they are a very good side on paper but needed a few poor mistakes to beat us
