    WARNING : "AWAY" LANGUAGE USED

Anyone missing the atmosphere, prices, and views from league one?

This is an absolutely pointless post other than to share a video I found on my phone.

I missed the "can't see a thing, hope it goes in" chant.

I was on about this today with a Rotherham supporting friend of mine.

League one is far more enjoyable, it’s not full of deluded fools, cheap tickets, old fashioned grounds and just all round better people who support proper clubs.

Also there doesn’t seem to be as large of a police presence I felt in league one which in my opinion really does make the games a more friendly atmosphere. Sounds odd but I do think it’s the case. Loved league one and everything about it.

I suppose it’s the same about the premier league too, the best thing about the prem is getting there. Once you’re there it’s crap.

At least I could see the goal. I didn't realise until after, but poor @Baka could only see the crossbar.

Agree wholeheartedly mate. It's crazy that our reward for success is a season long struggle.

I'm never too gutted to be relegated from this league. It often comes with a feeling of relief.

I wondered why he'd started wearing high heels for games.

I bloody loved last season me and had more away days then i've previously had any other season.

Like others have said it's probably due to us being successful which always adds a colourful tint on the season, but the grounds even though they were smaller and older were a better visit. Give me wins away at that construction site Southend use as a ground or the last minute winner at Walsalls ground in the middle of an industrial estate any day.

Only downside was the reduced allocations meant i couldn't go to the likes of Luton and Accrington.

Give me the Championship with the tackle to do it properly.

Those grounds were a treat too. At Accrington, properly looked after, proper club. We took over nearly half of the stadium. Best club in that league. Certainly my best away day last season.
And Luton - almost watching the match from someone's bathroom. It's a real shame they're moving grounds. Never again will I enter a ground from what was the downstairs of somebodies house.

I know I will find myself attending a lot less of the away games this season. I absolutely love away days in league one, what a great season it was.
As daft as it sounds considering we were unbeaten at home last season it's the home games that are a let down in league one. Very flat most weeks, our huge away end and half empty stadium being at fault for that.
Also we went into every home game expecitng victory so anything less felt like failure.
Fully get where @fitzytyke is coming from with the sense of relief though. Of course i want us to stay up but when it turns into a year on year struggle it does become too much.

I'm sure that applies to all of us, but as long as we're not making a fist of it, it's just not enjoyable.

Last time we did look ok, especially away from home, every bugger left over 2 transfer windows, but at least by January we had enough points on the board to sustain us.
