I've been quite a few times since 80s, and seen the stadium change beyond recognition, but I'd forgotten how loud that place was. When they all got going yesterday it was very impressive. I've been to lots of grounds but that has to be the loudest. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I had the privilege of working with the medical team at the Rugby World Cup in 2015, and had a touchline seat when Scotland played South Africa up there. Acoustics are stunning, national anthems were spine tingling and the atmosphere once the game started was one of the best I've experienced. Their staff were the nicest of all the grounds we worked at too.
Yeah we got looked after yesterday. My mate is blind so they sorted us disabled parking, missed out the turnstyles and straight into the lift. When you look at that stadium, and support, they're massively under achieving as a club. They should be challenging at the top end of the premier league. Couldn't understand why they had a statue of Jim Dobbin outside the ground though. Maybe it's to rival the Charlie Drake one at leeds. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
