Does anyone fancy giving me a hand putting the Preedy/Cryne flag out on saturday? You'll have to meet me outside the Ponty End at about 2pm and be happy to hang about after the match to put it away again. Please post in this thread or send me a PM sooner rather than later.

    Up the Reds.

Why cant the club just allow a steward to assist once in a while or one of the ball boys or car park lads Im sure it wouldn't impact on anyone too much.

I think the ball boys are under instructions to sit on their arses for 90 minutes. :)

Far too much common sense. Can't be putting on the stewards or ball boys by giving them extra work.

Thanks to Barnsley Chopin, I'm sorted for Saturday. We'll put it up in the North Stand again because I think there's a good chance of rain and I wouldn't want Stahlrost to come back from his hols to a rucksack full of wet flag.....

Try not to disturb any ball-boys. There's probably still a few asleep in that stand from the last home match.

This won't mean much to anyone, but the second digit is 8

Did anyone help you? As we were waiting to leave, I saw someone towing to wrap the flag up on his own. Was it you?

Somebody helped put the flag iut
I don't know if it was the person who originally volunteered but there was more than one person doing it. Maybe with the cancellation the other person forgot or was unable to help collect or whatever reason.

Totally not sure if this is already known but don’t stow it away wet, massive risk of spontaneous combustion if you stow a wet canvas

About the only thing I remember from seamanship training HMS Raleigh 1990 but it seemed very important to the instructor!
