Brown has missed two very good chances, we've made the wrong decisions in a number of good positions and then when the balls gone across the box there's no red shirt following in. Is it just because it's Coventry? Who knows. They missed a sitter in the first 5 mins as well but we really should be winning.
1 on target and 6 off according to Bet 365. Management said in the press that we've been practicing our finishing in training. We should be doing better.
Enjoying it as it is pretty end to end. Browns' first chance was well deflected by the Brown defender and goalkeeper. 2nd effort he should probably have scored but he has pace and is getting in good positions. Coventry look like they could be dangerous on the break but the Reds have worked their way back into the game. Mike Bahre looks absolute class and one or two of his turns were premiership quality. As the commentators have said the Stendl thinks that the finishing is still something that needs work so they DO recognise there is a weakness
I agree it's been a decent game, just need to start being clinical or risk punishment like against Walsall.
2 on target according to BBC - sounds right as I remember Browns first effort turned onto post and another tame shot straight at the keeper.
We're still getting plenty of shots, and quite a few on target. It's just the finishing that isn't there.
Happens sometimes. We'll bounce back and give somebody a proper toweling very soon. It would be a lot more worrying if we weren't actually creating chances. Got to feel for Jacob Brown.
No matter what year it is and what players play for us, they just seem to freeze at Coventry and panic at our record there, thus add to it.
