A good point considering the early injury to Dougall which upset our rhythm straight away. Bizarre choice of substitution though I must say, although Ben Williams deserves credit for sticking at it and growing into the game. Another clean sheet, and we have an extra days rest which will be much needed before our game next weekend. And of course Mcgeehan and Brown will be back which will be a huge boost. We knew tonight would be tough, so good result all round.
Agree with all that, but can’t help thinking we would have had at least another two points had Mcgeehan and Brown both been available down this week. However it was not to be, so onwards and upwards
We have done well to manage without them at a crucial time in the season. Avoiding defeat to Sunderland was massive, and under the circumstances a point tonight was just as big.
I think in an earlier post I mentioned playing Ben Williams as a holding midfielder Well done Here Stendel for being a tactical genius
