But for a moment of madness we would have won that game. We've proved that we're good enough to stop up, regardless of what happens in the rest of the transfer window. Proud of every one of them today, except one of course. Bad luck lads.
But we lost? They can play that way the rest of the season but if we keep losing then we won't have enough to stop up will we.
I know we lost, I watched the game. I think you know the point I'm trying to make, we played very well indeed until the mad hatter got sent off.
Great display today. If we play like we did in the first half and show the passion we did in the second we will be fine.
They proved it to me also, first half you wouldnt have known which side was at which end of the table.well done reds for a great effort
There's not much point in arguing this much further as I and everyone else are probably too emotional. I just thought we played really well until the red card, and even then we battled well. We were only a couple of minutes away from a point. That's what I think but I'm not trying to change anyone else's view.
I agree with you, we would have won without the sending off, we bossed the first half, last season we'd lost the game by half time. I thought Moncur, Gardner and Millan showed they are good enough to match top teams in this division, Moore put himself about and won everything in the air. Like you said, if it wasn't for that act of utter stupidity we would have won for sure.
We might well only have 10 men every week if we start with Cavare, based upon today's indication of his temperament.
There's the point right there we're pretty poor with 11 I think it's bang on praising the effort but unfortunately there needs to be other elements allied to said effort i.e. pace, skill and imagination all if which are sadly lacking throughout this squad. I also think the stats are stacking up against Hecky the new owners are not as romantically blinded to him like most of the faithful and as such he needs wins sharpish
