He's said he won't consider billions of people he's never met for a job at the club because a few people from the same CONTINENT annoyed him.

I bet Yiadom's loving this thread. I'm sure he appreciates knowing that his parents would be classed as having a bad attitude and trouble makers by Tony Henry simply because they are Ghanaian and that fans of his club agree.

 

can't see where I suggested anybody was or wasn't a ********. But on this occasion i think I will take your advice as your response seems totally out of line with what I actually wrote.

 

The only thing that should put a club off signing someone from Africa is how long you can be without them mid season, if they get called up for the cup of nations.

 

Absolutely I would find that just as inappropriate as the West Ham guy's comments, if not more as it's my club.

What exactly are you saying then if you're not trying to (thinly) veil the fact that you wouldn't blame the club for not signing anymore French players, simply because 2 of them decided not to sign?

No, I really can't see a problem.

I might do if he made up the stories of bad attitude and causing mayhem.

His experience is obviously bad enough to make him come to that conclusion.

The whole thing has probably been blown out of proportion anyway.

Dude, you simply cannot discriminate against an entire continent of people because you had a bad experience with a few people from there.

That is because technically it is possible that someone else hacked his emails and sent the message.

I take exception to that comment. People off this forum that know me will tell you completely different.

I'm neither neanderthal or thick. I just have my own opinion on what's "alleged" to have been said, and that opinion is that I can see where the guy is coming from, even if he was ill advised to say what he did.

Why, when I post on here regularly, mostly positive stuff about the reds when others just put the boot in, would you come to the conclusion that I'm neanderthal?

No I am not saying that. I am saying there is a fine line between people's experience (in our case Gautier who you may have noticed is French) and making accusations of racial discrimination. But as suggested maybe I should leave it because some on here do not want to debate, they want to rip people up as soon as they offer any other views other than there views. I was simply putting a different perspective but my mistake.

Well, I don’t follow your posts normally. Maybe this one was out of character. However, your original opinion was that you couldn’t see a major problem with someone not wanting to employ someone just because they were African. ( alleged or not is immaterial to your opinion ). If you can’t see why I would call that a Neanderthal view then never mind.

 

Again, coming to conclusions.

Two lads I travel to matches with. Ones married to a Philippino, and the other has a daughter to a black lady. You should ask them if I'm racist.

Whilst we're at it, I also go to games as an helper for a blind mate. Just in case you think I've a downer on disabled.
