Barnsley Council need to get involved here - these toilets are Sites of Special Scientific Interest. There are rare plants growing here that can only be found elsewhere in the rain forests of Peru.
No! This can't be allowed to happen. Quick, let's form a bog-hugging group and make for the ground before it is too late. This should be a listed building.
Also these toilets along with the West Stand are now classified as ancient monuments. And the value of these ancient monuments could be witnessed in the affect the monuments had on visiting Hull fans - as they stood open mouthed and pointing at the broken glass along top of the perimeter walls. It was great to see this - and really funny.
ANYONE can apply for a building which has a historic/social interest to have a Building Preservation Notice put on it. (It doesn't have to be done by the owner.) A building is defines as a 'structure' or 'erection!' The organisation who deal with requests is English Heritage or Historic England - see google.
