It wasn't a good scene for the massive. Loads of empty seats, Carlos looking very stressed and the loud booing at the final whistle. Long may it continue!
How the heck do they still get over 20,000 gates to watch that rubbish? I really hope that by the time we play them at Oakwell the three points means we go above them
Three strikes and out, I'm expecting some cuts next year... those 10 years season tickets haven't worked out.
Personally I don't think Carlos is the problem at Hillsborough. I don't think he's the one signing the players. They're the opposite to us. They've a squad full of overpaid, over the hill has beens who have been found out. They can't shift any of them off the books because nobody wants to pay for them or their ridiculously high wages. Its mis-management from above Carlos that has caused the problems at Wednesday. Chansiri has gambled on getting promoted by this season, and now the expectation level is sky high. They're all turning in Carlos now. I reckon if they sack him, they won't finish in the top half.
Not so sure 20000 turn up though. In the chippy yesterday the owner, talking to another Fowl said they weren't going and nobody wanted to use their season tickets (4), and the other bloke said the same. They will still be counted as the attendance though.
