    We just aren't good enough and haven't been all season. Getting our just deserts served, the championship feast is nearly over, best prep for the doggie bag offerings in league 1 again. To our new owners, good luck promoting the club round the world and raising revenue in the English third division cos the plan restricted your January spending as it appears right now. The plan had broken severely this season, surprise surprise!

    He needs to be questioned as our form under him for the past year and a quarter isn't going to sell season passes and he's now had three transfer windows to build his own team after getting us promoted with Wilson and Johnson players. He will forever be a legend for us Hecky, but nobody is bigger than the club and when the fun stops and it becomes a chore it's not good. Chien Lee can't afford for his investment to lose the millions relegation would bring.

    I never said he signed them, I said they are his players. His coaching of guys he works with day in day out, simply isn't working.

    It worked a treat in the first half today. We were well on top. Even in the second half we battled well and could have won it with the effort from Hedges and/or Moore sliding in and just failing to get a touch.

    Everybody is hurting but tonight is not the night to get on the players' backs. We were unlucky, very unlucky. A toenail away from a win and a couple of minutes away from a draw.

    As I posted in another thread I dont want rid of heckingbotton but don't understand these people saying you can't question him either. The stats dont lie and I'm sure the new owners won't keep putting up with this. Something has to give and there is still no confirmation on a new contract which has dragged on and on. Alternatively they may release the purse strings over the next few days and we bring in some more quality...

    unreal some of the stuff i'm hearing. we've made a top 6 team look bang average, until cavare got himself sent off. to blame hecky for today's result is crackers.

    Well you did post a few days ago that your Barnsley love is not unconditional.

    But that is not the way that a football club continues to exist.

    If everyone followed your lead then presumably you would be able to reconcile our club's extinction.

    Just because you didn't agree with a change of manager.

    For what it's worth, I would be furious if we dispensed with a manager who even I can see puts a lot of thought into how we play, gets our side to do what he wants as best they can, and whose efforts are often thwarted by a lack of personnel.

    I think we are not far off being a decent side.

    We should always stick to 4-4-2 though.
