I think McBurnie will be the last piece of the jigsaw.Do you think we need any more and if so in what position.?

We still need a proper defensive midfielder I reckon.

Considering what we've been linked with recently, another central midfield and winger seem on the cards.

Imagine if Hecky has his ideal squad he'd look for a experienced centre back, a tough tackling/controlling/ leader in the centre of the park to take some burden off young Williams and allow Potts, McGeehan and Mallan to get up to speed over the season. And finally a 4th striker sounds like McBurnie to have different options on bench.

Think we'll see Sessi, Payne and perhaps Townsend head out on loan or permenant and a back up/young keeper coming in to push Davies a bit more.

Pinnock may need to get league football somewhere if he's going to be 4th or 5th choice once Lindsey is back/anyone else we may sign.

We now have a first team squad of 30 (that includes new first team signings, or players who have appeared for us at least once).

I'd like to see us get rid of some to be honest. 30 seems a huge number to manage til January.

We definitely need to offload a few of the fringe players . I Think we've got 26/27 players after today's signings. That's a tidy wage bill .

What if the only tall forward at the club - McBurnie - gets injured or suspended???
    We need a spare.
We need competition for that position.

Plus - the same thing applies to hard tackling midfield - Williams.

As Hecky says - we need competition for each position.

Suppose it depends what formation we go with. If he sticks with 1 up front do we need another striker with bradshaw, ugbo and thiam fighting for 1 spot, and unless we go 0/10/0 we already have way too many midfielders, imo of course.
I would personally like to see 5 or 6 moved on then hecky get on with getting the best he can out of the rest of the squad

If we can offload Yiadom, Tuton, Sessi, that's then a squad of 27.

Townsend I'd expect to be ousted, but is Walton ok for cover, if not one in and squad size still 27. Then a case of what we do with Kay, Bird and Brown

Reckon Mowatt might be one we move on. Think he might be regarded as a bit of a panic buy.

We might see Mowatt in for Potts this weekend. With Williams holding would be good to let Moncur and Mowatt play more advanced.

Potts just needs a season getting up to speed with less pressure on his shoulders to instantly step in.

If Mowatt could recapture some form and confidence he clearly is a talented lad. Not seen remotely near his best yet. The question is can he get back to the form that made him Leeds best player a couple of seasons back.

Not officially, but a deal is agreed for him to come here, we are just waiting on Swansea allowing him to go

Id like to see a proper left footed full back and a solid defensive mid that has some experience that could help guide this young lad Williams and provide cover for him

Not a pop at anyone, but I think it's funny how a week ago we desperately needed 'bodies', now we desperately need to send people out on loan. Only on the BBS.
