At the rate we're going I'm not going to bother renewing next season. If I want to watch footy on a Saturday I will probably just walk down to watch Wombwell Town such is my complete apathy towards my beloved Reds. Never felt like this in nearly nearly 35 years of following Barnsley.

What will you be doing next season?

    Hopefully Barnsley, under new owners.

Maybe Bradford Park Avenue if I go back to grass roots.

Possibly golf if I give up on football.

Or just walking, getting the miles in.

All being well, health wise, I will probably still be going down to Oakwell. I’ve seen worse times and still supported them. No I’m not a happy clapper, I’m not happy at all the way things are going this season on and off the pitch and I understand why people won’t go, I just will.

Go and watch Trinity more, pick up some Wakefield AFC games even though that means going out to Featherstone to watch them.
    Plenty of alternatives.

I'll renew and watch my home town team, regardless of division or personnel.

My life isn't governed by the success or otherwise of my team. I love it when we're doing well, but don't get too down when we're struggling.

I've had some of the most pleasurable moments of my life watching Barnsley. But no defeat has come close to being listed as s 'worst moment".

If you’re serious about it, I can PM you the application form for the WSDS (West Stand Doggers Society) if you like.

I get that, I don't think any of us are in it for the glory its about supporting your local club through bad times and the good.

As long as my Dad wants to renew the I probably will do too - as much as the current owners have soured my feelings towards the club. I like where we sit in the East Upper so don't want to have to move around if we pick and choose games on a match by match basis.

Having said that I can't be arsed going on Weds - that will be two consecutive games I'm not bothering with.

I will be buying a seasonal pass like I have for over 25 years through good and bad times.
