Usually someone will say we lost to the team in third position, or to a team still on parachute money, or a team that hasn't won in the last fifty games, or has won every game since 1945, well tonight we lost to a team playing in blue and white ! It's getting very thin now and I'm struggling to dream up new excuses.... apart from saying that we are not good enough.
Because we played the wrong team from the start, We were missing Jackson, Isgrove and Hammill And Hecky is still trying to give that charity winner from Chelsea the chance to prove he is actually a professional footballer. We’ve had equally bad, and far worse spells. The last 3 games have been dire. Let’s hope Hecky can shake it up and get us back on a mini run. Still 6 points clear of relegation going into December. I would be happy still being 6 points clear at start of January. A big ask. A huge ask. But we have most definitely been up against it worse than we are currently.

You hit the nail on the head. The squad is not good enough. We are in a relegation battle and as such we will lose a lot of games. Hopefully the players can improve enough to get some more points on the board soon
There is no excuse, only facts. We’re one of the weakest teams in the division with one of the smallest budgets. We’re missing another striker, all our central midfield options other than Williams have been awful & we had a lack of options out wide with Hammill & Isgrove missing
Another striker? Who is the other one. Ugbo is toss and bradshaw is too slow and lightweight and never a championship striker
