...it would be hard to say it was undeserved. What a brilliant ending to a league season with 4 teams potentially heading for 90 points.

Honestly I'd wet myself though if Sunderland finish 4th and lose in the playoffs. Nothing against them personally, but they all thought they'd go up as a formality.

Both us and Sunderland could miss out still more twists and turns to come

The Sunderland v Pompey game is huge. A draw is the best outcome for us.

I'm still not convinced that Luton are over the line. If they lose tomorrow then both automatic places are up for grabs.

Didn't realise that we're only 2 points behind tonight. You could well be right there.

To be honest many Sunderland supporters, me included, were happy to arrest the slide through the league's but having built in a new team at very short notice and then being at the business end of the league for much of the season the expectation levels had risen.

Whoever finishes top 2 deserves it and well done to them. Right now I couldn't call it.

Luton lose tomorrow and the three chasing win on Monday, the pressure will be on them for Tuesday.

Can see Luton losing tomorrow though it would be nice if they did. Or even a draw would be nice

Less chance than no chance of losing.

How do you think you'll approach the Pompey game Spender?

That could be the crunch game for both clubs. Whoever wins could take second spot. Draw and you both drop 2 points.

Bit of a bogey team as well aren't they?

Definitely our bogey team, beaten us twice this season. After experimenting with 4-4-2 for a few games we went back to our favoured 4-4-1-1 which suited is much better but also had a few players back from injury as well as changing both centre halfs who had two consecutive disastrous games.

We will play 4-4-1-1 from here are on in regardless of who the opposition is home or away. The crowd might just get us through the pompey game especially if McGeady and Cattermole stay fit as they are both critical players for us.
