    ...and I must stress it was in broad daylight with loads of witnesses to say that nothing untoward went on.

    Met Don King at Heathrow when going to watch Wales in Germany last year. What a berserker he is! As the bus at Frankfurt airport stopped at the terminal he stands up & shouts Achtung!!! Ve have arrived! Had to ask him what is it with the mad hair - but he just laughed!

    Cardiff played a Man Utd XI in a testimonial a few years ago. When I got to my seat (in the directors box at the time!) it was taken - by Joe Calzaghe. He was there with Nicky Piper and Steve Robinson, former world featherweight champ. Told Joe to shift a bit sharpish or he'll be having one from me. Bless him, moved to the row behind and we had a pint together later. Phew!

    Sat next to Tina Turner on Center Center Court at Wimbledon. Shared a couple of Strawberry Mivvies with her. Didn't see Cliff Richard there though, which was a bonus.

    Does Peter Ridsdale count as famous

    But sadly not at an older age. She used to flirt with me but i think it was because I was of absolutely no sexual threat.
