Why are Barnsley always so late at kicking off?

Ever since Cranie and co were here we have made a habit of being late at kicking off and it isn't rare for the opposition to stand around on the pitch waiting for us to come out of the changing rooms. It can't be a coincidence that successive Barnsley teams under different managers have all done this can it?
