I think he would have gone straight in today at right back but williams performance at Huddersfield ensured he got another crack at it...... Got to be better than what we have already otherwise what a wasted loan signing it would be.
I think after how Jordan Williams was done for pace for the goal running like he had lead boots on and failed to stop the cross, we will be seeing our loanee from the start against Preston.
Dunno but he should bring some local cider back on the team coach to get something good out of the day We missed him on the field for sure.
Hopefully Diaby back so Halme can fit into that midfield , I think he would have covered that run for their goal , I think he was missed in that midfield role tbh but then again he played well in the CH position .
With all due respect, You are missing the point guys. He may or may not be a good left back in 18 months time. He's only 19. He was cheap and we can sell him on for profit at some future point. Oh, I see you're thinking in terms of us signing a defender who might improve the team now?? Sorry, not happening
He's a right back. He's also on loan and VERY highly rated, so I wouldn't expect us to sign him in the summer
I bow to your superior knowledge on his dominant foot mate, but my point is: when we had a full back out, he isnt an automatic choice to start. That is what we needed rather than developing players (by your argument someone else's players) , just how much time do you think we have to improve and stay in this league?
So why sign him when we need players for the immediate battle ahead. If he's rubbish then he goes back and it's a missed opportunity of someone else we could have signed instead. If he's brilliant we've developed someone else's player. What's your honest take on a 19 year old from a foreign league being chucked into the fourth richest and one of the most physical leagues in the world. Remind me on the last day of the season. If he's been our saviour I'll but you a steak in the Grille. If he's a bit part you can buy me a pint in the irish bar, are we on??
Cavare has been on the scrap heap since October basically. Jordan Williams has had the RB spot to himself, so I found it interesting that as soon as we signed competition for his place he put in a MOTM performance (debatable I know, but he definitely had his best game of the season). The young lad could be phenomenal talent, but he's only been in the country a couple of weeks, and is a RB who can play LB, so maybe Struber thought a debut with just 15 minutes notice wasn't the wisest move.
Thought he did well at at LB when he came on. If it was a straight choice and there was no oudour, ludvig would be be in, for me.
