He doesn't like the club. Leeds through and through. Legend to us but sadly it's not reciprocated. From the time I spoke to him about 2 years ago before you all jump on me.

Well yes but I would have thought they could have soared him for 5 minutes

What exactly did he say to you to say that he doesn't like Barnsley FC because everything I've ever heard from him suggests he loves this club even if he is a lifelong Leeds fan

I also spoke to him a few years ago and he said he loved the club and had the best years of his playing career here.

I've spoken to him in the past and always got the impression he holds us in high regard.

What possible reason would he have not to like the club?

We tried to get everybody. Every player you can think of, we invited. Ronnie Glavin for example was absolutely gutted on the phone when I invited him. Because he couldn't make it. Same for many. Some who couldn't attend we still interviewed for the programme and I'm sure a few explained why they couldn't make it.

I thought it was lovely regardless, proud of how we pulled it off. Down the old tunnel and that. Class. But yeah, just a shame we couldn't get more here.

Spoke to Redfearn numerous times recently, this afternoon the last time when he said he couldn't leave his position 20 yards away to join the others. That's life.

Les was invited. He's a season ticket holder I believe. Told us he couldn't attend.

Eric Winstanley was here, he helped us a lot. But sadly didn't appear on pitch with the others as he felt unwell.

Was great to meet George's Kerr and Hamstead, my grandad loved them both. Weird stood in the old tunnel though. Couldn't help but imagine what it was like back in the day. Would love that to be THE tunnel again. Feels wrong coming out next to the away fans.

I agree YTBFC it would be great if the home side could once again enter the field of play from the West Stand Tunnel .
Anybody remember (and could post) the front page of a Football League Review of BFC coming down from that tunnel ?

Yeah its never been the same since the tunnel moved. Although i think its also spoilt by the walking out lining up and shaking hands nonsense.
